Hey Andrew. Did you just start this up? Dope. I'm excited to see what comes out of that thoughtful brain. Interesting map. It undermines the sense of stability and permanence that present nation-states and institutions have. So many empires are now all erased. What did it make you think about? - Peter
Made me think about what the world might have been like at that time. Old cultures, how they've mixed and mingled to become our modern cultures. More practically, i wondered how accurately historians could assess those ancient borders. Even then, people were probably pretty unclear on borders.
